So we were really looking forward to the latest edition of “Develop” as we had our own ace advert in there of a vomiting pegbeast as well as a Q&A Ricky and I did. It all paled into insignificance though, when we saw Nat had made it into the 30under30 feature!

The 30under30 feature highlights the rising stars of the games industry who are still young enough to get turned away from alehouses and we’re chuffed that Nat (quite rightly in our opinion) made it into the 30 people featured for 2009. Fantastic! She’s barely stopped smiling all day (though that’s not really much of a difference from normal), well done Nat!

In other news, Kahoots for minis is now available to play on the PS3. Thanks to the new firmware update from Sony, Kahoots minis is now emulated on a PS3 which is quite handy for those of you curious about Kahoots and minis, but without the wherewithal to play it on a PSP. It’s still the cheap-as-chips price of £2.49/€2.99/$4.49 on PlayStation Store. You can see us gabbing about it on the Playstation website here.

We also did a pretty interesting “making of…” feature with the marvellous Indievision website which can be found here.

There’s been so much happening this year, 2009 has been pretty good to Honeyslug, we’re looking forward to 2010!

Yes! And we’re immensely proud of it! Don’t worry, we haven’t lowered our quality threshold, we’ve simply made a game called “Dinoplop” which is about pooing as much as possible.

With “My Pet Dinosaur” continuing to rampage around the PC Kids Games Top 10, we decided to give those of you yet to buy it a little taster of the game. In My Pet Dinosaur, if you overfeed your pet, they will poop occasionally to free up feeding space, with Dinoplop it’s all about the brown stuff as your dinosaur must consume as much as possible before curling it out the other end. However, it’s not so straightforward, each level has a target amount of poos and a time limit in which to do them! Having 10 dumps in 30 seconds takes one heck of a constitution.
