Kahoots PSP News

Posted by mark On October - 6 - 2009

orangeI was gonna use my ace “What have Kahoots PSP and Mint400’s “Intercomfort” album got in common? Load’s of cool feedback!” gag, but it requires a fair knowledge of the early 90’s UK shoegazing scene.

Anyway, Kahoots PSP. There’s been a fair amount of activity and press regarding this, with much more to come.

First up, we’ve given the www.savethekahoots.com site a fresh lick of paint, there are things to click on including review soundbites, a Kahoots overview and even a bit about us! The flash game is no longer the first thing you’ll see now, though it’s still there on the PLAY button. Don’t worry, you should still have your progress saved, no going back to level one for you!

Next up, we had quite a busy week what with all the releases, we’ve got some cool press reviews and interviews for you to enjoy. For us, it’s really something of a thrill seeing those long hours of hard work condensed down into a score out of 10. Especially when they are quite high like the following:

Pocket Gamer Review

Pspminis.com Review

As well as those, we had a couple of interviews:

Nat and I talk about the making of Kahoots on pspminis.com

Develop Mag roundtable about the new minis range

This will be available on the Kahoots page of our site, too where you can download game images, Press Releases and even the picnic pictures from the Kahoots tea party!

There’s going to be much more from later this week onwards, so keep a lookout on here or on the many reputable games review sites for more.

Lady, gardens.

gopherFlora has just moved to Clementine Valley and one day when she is out exploring, she finds an old man struggling with a heavy crate of fruit. After helping him, the old man introduces himself as Jim, and Flora is keen to find out how he gets such wonderful fruit. He explains to her about the magical gardening gloves and so begins Flora’s amazing adventure across Clementine Valley.

Anyway, here’s Flora to give you a run down on what you can find:
FloraCox- 50 fruit trees to grow – my favs are the cherry blossom trees, really pretty!
- 8 Unique environments, each with their own tree types. (I’d love to live in North Star Lodge…)
- 8 kinds of fruit with varying levels of difficulty.
- 7 different special characters, remember their favourite fruits for a bigger tip!
- Tree Roots to explore where you can discover treasure, fruit seeds and flower bulbs.
- Pesky birds and gophers need to be kept at bay!
- Cute squirrel helpers that can help you out of sticky situations!
- Beautiful butterflies to collect and achievements to meet.
- Help the locals out and they may help you in return.
- A handy financial Report so you can keep track of your progress.
- Tip of the day!
- Shopping!!!
- 10 additional challenges if you’re feeling adventurous!

Oh..and according to the locals I overhead, each environment also has a hidden secret….can you find them all?

Flora’s Fruit Farm is available on PC and is published by Eidos. It is available from the Steam website here.
